Earlier, the Economic Growth Directorate encouraged the vendors to apply for a trading bay at the Steenberg Festival to mark their spot at the venue. While inviting the vendors, they expressed that the organisers are looking forward to bringing the Steenberg Festival to the community and welcoming an assortment of vendors to showcase their goods and services.

As per the sources, the Area Economic Development officials within the Economic Growth Directorate are working closely with the Ward Councillor, Marita Petersen, to make the market successful. The festival provides a wonderful opportunity for the local vendors to raise their profile and promote their wares.

Mentioning the same, the member of the Mayoral Committee of the City for Economic Growth – Alderman James Vos, stated that the one-on-one meeting with the customers is a fantastic way to begin building relationships and networks.

Additionally, James Vos marked that the festival aims to provide visitors with a platform to break away from their daily routine and take some time to relax, enjoy the moment and interact with their family and friends.
