Mauritius dignitaries attend solemn reception on Russia Day

Mauritius: On the occasion of Russia Day, a solemn reception was held at the Embassy on June 13, 2023. The event was attended by various Ministers of Mauritius, including President Prithvirajsing Roopun, Marie Cyril Eddy Boissezon, Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, Louis Steven Obeegadoo, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Housing and Land Use Planning, Minister of Tourism, Mahen Kumar Seeruttun, Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Joyker Nayeck, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Mauritian Foreign Ministry, representatives from business, scientific, and public circles of the host country, heads of diplomatic missions of friendly countries accredited on the island, including China, India, Egypt, Pakistan, South Africa and Madagascar, former Ambassador of Mauritius to Russia, Indira Savitree Thacoor-Sidaya, Chairpersons and members of the Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities and the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots permanently residing in Mauritius.
