KwaZulu Natal (Springfield Park): Two females were seriously wounded in a drive by shooting in Springfield Park – KZN on Friday.
A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) officers around the morning requesting assistance in Inanda Road. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered multiple private ambulances on the scene. It was established that the occupants of a white bakkie (model & registration unknown) opened fire on a white BMW X5.
Two females in the SUV were seriously injured. Approximately 30 spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene.
Both females were stabilised on the scene before being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Residents are scared as this is not common to see open firing in the residential area. One of the eyewitnesses said, “I was right there, extremely sad to have seen. It is a worry to know that criminals can do as they feel in this country without any fear of the consequences of the law, but I guess there is no law to protect us from things like these. I pray that those two women recover fully, and I hope those responsible are caught soon.”
However, one more surprising thing is that there are Robots in the country who stop cars and fire unstoppable vehicles. “My husband was held up last week there by the robot with a fire arm”, said the other users.
One of the other local ladies, Klemmi Charlene Norris, also gave news to the nation in which she said, “What is interesting is that another drive by shooting claimed the lives of a drug dealer and his family in almost the same area… I wonder what they were doing there. Is it a coincidence, or are they visiting their distro to re-up?”
“That’s a hit. Now, the peps are being hunted by the sender since they failed to do their assignment yet paid. It’s now a cat and mouse game coz the target survived by the grace of God. 30 bullets, God is great, man,” said Sikes Mosame.
