South Africa: Wesgro has commenced on a mission to unlock access to new markets and help in growing tourism to Cape Town and the Western Cape. As a part of this drive, they proudly showcased the very best of the inspiring region that they have to offer at the World Travel Market Africa 2025, earlier this month.
The teams have joined more than 5700 industry professionals from 99 countries to promote the diverse offerings of the region from the world-renowned wine routes and rich cultural heritage to adventure experiences and sustainable travel initiatives.
However, on the sidelines, Wesgro hosted 20 students from the Pinotage Youth Development Academy (PYDA) for an engaging session on the agency’s tourism mandate. PYDA supports young South Africans with training and opportunities that open doors in the tourism and hospitality industries.
