South Africa: Discover Cape Town and Western Cape with Safe Travels Playbook by Wesgro.
Reportedly, Wesgro – the official tourism, trade and investment promotion agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape, marketing at the global level, has developed the Safe Travels Playbook – a practical, easy-to-use resource designed to help visitors explore the Western Cape with confidence, as the festive season is in full swing with bumper numbers of tourist arrivals.
They encouraged both visitors and the hospitality industry to utilise the platform to enhance visitor confidence and support a safe and welcoming travel experience across the province. The Playbook is supported by a suite of white-label collateral and is ready for download for the visitor and trade from postcards to door hangers by ensuring important safety information which is easily accessible for guests throughout their journey.
The Playbook promotes responsible tourism, offering clear guidance on general safety awareness, beach and mountain safety, emergency contacts and respectful travel practices. By placing the right information at visitors’ fingertips, they are supporting positive, safe and memorable travel experiences across all six regions this holiday season.
