The organization has claimed that the distribution cycle is proof of their commitment to ensuring a steady and efficient supply. ZAMMSA is responsible for supply of essential medical resources across the country.
The distribution process begins with secondary-level health facilities, ensuring they receive the critical supplies needed to provide uninterrupted healthcare services. This will be followed by the systematic supply of medicines and medical products to district hospitals, specialized hospitals, and teaching hospitals on a monthly basis. Additionally, primary healthcare facilities will receive their allocated supplies every alternate month to maintain continuity of care at all levels.

To further enhance the efficiency of this distribution cycle, ZAMMSA is hosting a week-long workshop. The initiative is being hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and key stakeholders.
This engagement will streamline the distribution process for 2025, ensuring timely and effective delivery of medical supplies. The 2025 delivery and supply runs will cover all 3,500 health facilities nationwide.
