The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew extended his support to the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots during their weekend match

St Kitts: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew extended his support to the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots during their weekend match against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. He was accompanying his wife, First Lady Diani Prince Drew.

The Patriots Team faced the Falcons at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium over the weekend. The match was attended by several fans and admirers for both the teams. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis shared some images from the event on his social media.

He was proud of the players who were representing the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for their performance. He said that the team gave their opponents a tough competition as they gave the Falcons a respectable target.

The success can be attributed to the remarkable performance of the team, Kittitian Born cricketer, Mikyle Louise. Louise gave the team a boost with his 63 run innings. He scored 7 maximums during his time on the pitch.

PM Terrance Drew highlighted that he was proud too see the sportsperson from St Kitts and Nevis perform as well. The leadership of the country, who made it to the Warner Park Cricket Stadium to support the team, hoped for them to achieve their first victory in the hometown.

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, who won the toss, decided to field first and managed to take several quick wickets. Afterwards, Mikyle Louise took charge of giving the team a boost. However, it was not enough.

The Falcons, when batting, started off better than the Patriots, but the home team managed to take eight wickets before their opponents were able to match their target. The officials have shared that they were delighted with the performance.

Even though the team did not win the match, the supporters said that they were proud of the team.
