Mother and daughter hailing from the Foumbot town of Cameroon killed Franklin Gemngha on October 18, 2023. The victim was the former partner of one of the suspects, who has been identified as Naomi. Gemngha was also the father of Naomi’s three-year-old daughter
The other victim involved in the homicide was Naomi’s mother, Mrs Gatuo. The younger of the two suspects, Naomi, shared an unpleasant and rocky relationship with the victim. Her mother often tried to mediate the situation between the couple and restore peace in the relationship.
According to the reports, the victim, Franklin and Naomi had a disagreement a few days before the homicide took place. At this point, Mrs Gatuo called him to Foumbot to mediate a situation of peace between them. The victim agreed to go to the mother’s house and discuss the situation with his partner.
The victim arrived at Foumbot to the house of the suspects. There, he found some people who attacked him and lynched him fatally. The group of offenders then threw the body of the victim at a place called “Pont évêché”.
A few hours later, the police force of Cameroon has captured 6 people who are currently in the police custody. The officials have shared that the suspects confessed that they were paid by Naomie’s mother to assassinate Franklin.
The mother and her daughter, accused of instigating the murder, have remained missing after the incident. The officials suggest that they are investigating the incident and looking for the missing mother and daughter.
The people of Cameroon have condemned the culprits for their conspiracy and role in the homicide of the youngster. The people of Cameroon have expressed their disappointment for hearing and witnessing bad news frequently.
