Saint Lucia: Dr. Ernest Hilaire has pledged to extend his support to the Cultural Development Foundation to help the organization grow. The Minister of Creative Industries, Culture and information stated that he is working on fine tuning the support package for the CDF.
He announced that his budget of the Ministry of Culture will provide support to the CDF. The aim is to allow the organization to grow and build on the profits of the previous years. The Culture Development Foundation will accordingly help the creatives attain great heights within their respective careers.
The team has been working hard to give the creatives of Saint Lucia a platform to grow and transform their careers. The Cultural Development Foundation has helped many creatives of the country get access to support that they need.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia called the CDF, Cultural Development Foundation a key development agency. According to Minister Dr. Hilaire, the organization has helped in enriching the lives and livelihoods of our aspiring creatives.
The CDF is responsible for hosting a variety of capacity enhancement initiatives and programmes to support the creatives. Accordingly, the Deputy PM has expressed his pride and appreciation towards the organization for their relentless efforts.
Dr. Ernest Hilaire noted that in light of the upcoming budget presentation scheduled for late April, he has started his preparations. He has committed to prioritize the foundation in his budget presentation. Accordingly, he met the senior leadership at the CDF to fine-tune the support package.
He promised that his budget would give the CDF the support they need to develop the creatives of the country. The Business Development director at the Cultural Development Foundation has appreciated the Deputy Prime Minister for their efforts.
Murchel Hippolyte said that, an investment into culture is an investment in our people.
The Minister of Culture and Creative industries et al, Dr. Hilaire has remained dedicated to the development of all the sectors under his charge. The Ministry’s support to the CDF will take the foundation and its members to the limelight.
With the Ministry, the organization can likely change the life of the creatives of Saint Lucia.
