‘Justice’ a powerful tool of information for human trafficking, says Brazio Kanyong’o on trailer launch

The movie Justice displays another real side of the African cities where women are considered as just a mere thing that can be used by the males as however, they want to. It is really very important for people to understand that the people of Africa must get aware about.

The trailer of the most awaited Malawian movie was finally released on April 01, 2024. The makers of the movie dropped the official trailer on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. on video sharing on the social media platform YouTube.

The trailer included the glimpses of the movie ‘Justice’ that will be releasing on June 28, 2024. With action packed scenes the trailer begins with the introduction of the city where the innocence is traded for profit by selling girls in the town.

The plot of the movie ‘Justice’ is filmed around the story of a young girl who was forced to get into trafficking and slavery. She was exploited by a taxi driver under a syndicate of the Inspector General of police and other prominent people.

The trailer of the movie explains that Justice is a story of one girl’s Journey that will ignite the quest for justice as the woman dares to uncover the truth, risking everything to expose the darkness luring within.

The producer of the movie Brazio Mathias Kanyongo’o said that the movie will bring a change in the Malawi Film Industry and empower the women. He also stated that a movie is a powerful tool for providing the public with important information about human trafficking.

Producer Kanyongo’o further stated that the movies, with their entertaining nature, can communicate effectively and will convey the message and educate people across multiple locations within the community.

He also mentioned that Magic Promotions is planning to implement as one way of raising awareness about human trafficking and creating a platform where the general public will understand and appreciate the artistic role in the fight against human trafficking in Malawi.

The movie, produced by Magic Promotions and UGM Graphics, will cast celebrity actors Dorothy Kingston, Sir Ian Evance Chisekula, Gibson Ngalamita, Joyce M Chavula, MoPherson Chatama, Dhana Chatata, and Florida Chibambo.

The movie’s producers are Brazio M. Kanyong’o, Adam Ogamah, and Bester Kauwa. The Director of Photography (DOP) was Stain Banda, and the Graphic Designer was Andrew Chiodzeka.
