Mia Le Roux was crowned as Miss South Africa 2024 on August 10, 2024. She has become the first deaf woman to win the title, as no one have ever dared. Now the winner is focused on making people aware of her story and embracing it being more vocal about it.

Miss South Africa’s official page has recognised the spirit of the pageant winner and appreciated her initiative to encourage others by sharing an official post complimenting Le Roux. Miss South Africa 2024, Mia Le Roux was born on June 27, 1995 in Sasolburg, Free State. She was raised in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape. She was diagnosed with profound hearing loss, when she was just a little baby at the age one and since then is using a cochlear implant.
Le Roux is a marketing manager and model by profession. She is also pursuing a part-time B. Com Marketing study, being a student. She is a confident lady and a great good example of beauty with brain. She knows her goal well and targets it accordingly. Her journey is very inspiring that motivates others to put their best step forward while in a competition, especially in life.
She remains always keen to solve problems of others and inspire others with her deeds. She is ready to take on any challenge that arrive toward her. She is a real fighter.
