Zambia: Development Aid from People to People have donated five bins to the Ndola City Council. The aim of the donation is to ensure that the communities within the city do not face problems with littering.
The organization has pledged to support the district in its efforts to maintain hygiene and cleanliness within its surroundings. The DAPP organization has been working hard to promote hygiene and cleanliness in the community.
The organization wants to make sure that the community knows the importance of maintaining a hygienic atmosphere.
The leadership of the Ndola City Council has thanked the Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) for their donation. The five dump bins will help significantly to reduce littering in the Central Business District.
The city council recently observed the Keep Ndola City Clean Campaign. During the event, Director Public Health Hubert Mwanza confirmed that they will use the donated items in the manner that it is intended.
The organization has shared that the bins will help in promoting better health for the people of the community. The better hygiene practices will help in reducing communicable diseases. The donation is extremely important in the light of the upcoming rain season.

Ndola City Council Senior Health Inspector Hillary Tebeka has urged the members of the public to consider venturing into the plastic recycling business.
Tebeka announced that the local authority is working with many different companies for recycling plastic bottles. They use the product to create hand washing basins as a way of managing waste and prolonging the life span of dump site areas.
Meanwhile, DAPP Zambia Programme Director Mwansa Katunga says the organisation will continue to foster programmes aimed at restoring sanity in the 10 provinces of the country.
Katunga noted that DAPP has their businesses spread across the country and will ensure that sanity is observed in places where they are located through the keep Zambia clean campaign.
