Dominica: PM Roosevelt Skerrit has invited the people of Dominica to nominate the most deserving tourism stakeholders for the 2024 Tourism Awards. The aim of the tourism awards is to highlight the most loved and hardworking tourism service providers in Dominica.
The country welcomes a large number of tourists from across the globe, seeking a relaxing and peaceful vacation. The small businesses, vendors, accommodation/hotel owners et al play a crucial role in making their travel experience smooth.

Accordingly, the hard work of these people must be acknowledged and appreciated on the national platform. The Prime Minister has accordingly urged the people to take the time to nominate their favorite tourism stakeholders.
The nomination process is open for all the members of the community, people of Dominica currently living in Diaspora and tourists. Anyone can nominate their favourite and most deserving tourism stakeholders for the award.
The Award ceremony is an important tradition for the Tourism Ministry of Dominica which serves as an encouragement for the businesses, tourist guides and more to perform well. Through the awards, the country also seeks to constantly upgrade the Tourism sector of the country.
The team at the ministry of tourism highlighted that Tourism is everybody’s business. They are convening the awards event to celebrate Dominica’s Tourism Service Excellence by nominating outstanding professionals & businesses.
The deadline for the nomination of the tourism service stars is at 15 May 2024. Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit called on the people to help the ministry in highlighting the valuable members of the Dominica Tourism team.
The Minister of Tourismm, Denise Charles also urged the communities to come forward and highlight the people who deserve to be put under the spotlight for their dedication and hardwork.
