St Kitts: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew met with representatives from Solidus Corp regarding the highly anticipated St. Kitts Ritz-Carlton Resort Hotel and Residences. The project is extremely high profile and has been taken up by the Solidus Corp to expand their services to the federation.
The Prime Minister, who met with the company representatives on Friday, termed the resort and residences as a transformative project. According to him, the project is set to advance the government’s vision for sustainable tourism and economic growth.
The construction of the highly anticipated project is all set to bring a major boost of new jobs and increased investments. The tourism stakeholders of the tourism industry are confident that the resort and residences will position St. Kitts and Nevis as a premier destination.
The construction for the Ritz Carlton Hotel and Residences will start in the year 2025. The project was announced in December 2024 and has been one of the most eagerly awaited tourism projects for the twin island federation.
Notably, the Tourism Authority of St Kitts has announced that the construction of the Ritz Carlton Project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2025. Furthermore, the Hotel and Rsidences are set to open in the second quarter of 2028.
The leadership of the country has been confident that the project will take the federation’s tourism potential to great heights. The Hotel and Residences are set to accommodate 125 guest suites. The structure will have 10 branded villas and 15 branded condominium residences.
The Hotel and Residences are all set to give their travellers the experience of luxury and relaxation as they venture into the smallest island nation in the western hemisphere. The Ritz Carlton Hotels and Residences will also feature amenities like luxury spa, multiple swimming pools and dining options, The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, the Ritz Kids Club.
The Prime Minister, Terrance Drew who spoke to the representatives of the Solidus Corp, expressed his government’s willingness to work with them to support this new venture which is set to bring a influx of tourists to the federation.
