Zambia: The Government of Zambia is working hard to complete the construction of the Sinazeze Modern Market. The Government calls the marketplace a massive infrastructure masterpiece of the Sinazongwe District in Southern Province.
The project is being constructed for the benefit of the district’s local traders. The initiative was started by the Patriotic Front-PF Administration but it had to be halted due to financial issues.
However, the district administration has now secured the finances for the construction project. According to the Sinazongwe District Commissioner, the project is nearing completion.
The officials have shared that the project will benefit the people of the Sinazongwe District as they will have a dedicated market. The traders can also conduct their businesses in a fruitful and efficient manner.
Commissioner Siakole said the new market will transform the lives of the people in Sinazongwe District. He announced that it is the first-ever market where traders will take their commodities.
The Sinazongwe District Commissioner paid tribute to President Hakainde Hichilema for considering Sinazeze for development. Zambia’s administration is dedicated to providing the best in-line development opportunities to the people.
President Hichilema has opened doors to several initiatives through which the various district administrations can fund their developmental initiatives. One of the initiatives that fill the bill is CDF – Constituency Development Fund for various districts.
The programme has been very successful and has delivered many important developmental initiatives to the country’s people. These initiatives include the development of district markets and the construction of school classroom blocks.
The President even provided police vehicles to all the constituencies of Zambia through the CDF. The people of Zambia expressed their delight and appreciation for the government’s efforts to ensure better facilities for the people.
Further, they noted that they wanted to see for themselves the progress of the construction project.
