Soccer match turns into fist fight: MUZA FC vs Nkwazi

Zambia: It all turned out as brawl between the football clubs of Zambia, MUZA and Nkwazi. It was a scene of mayhem as the much anticipated and rescheduled match between the teams turned into a fist fight.

Reportedly, the game was doomed when the word ‘GO’ was said to the Nkwazi FC who were prevented to enter in the stadium and forced it to jump over the fence.

The soccer match was going all well with the scores at 0-0 until the 84th minute. It was just a moment, when the center referee Leonard Akapelwa awarded a penalty to the home side FC MUZA.

Whereas, Nkwazi FC declined to accept it and accused the referee for receiving the bribe, and then on it all turned into Chaos.

However, the story from the MUZA FC explains that Nkwazi players and match officials immediately invaded the pitch and charged for the ref who took to his heels running.

While the story from the Nkwazi side explains that it was FC MUZA security that indulged in and pounced on them and forced them to retaliate.

Either way or that way, the Police had to come in, as fans and officials got involved in the fight that created much chaos and mess.

It was a controversy, among the various battles that was captured as the one that involved Nkwazi media man Jeff Mwape chasing after the muscular MUZA captain – Sidney Kasanda and accused him for destroying his phone.

Several people got injured in that mishappening and among those injured was Nkwazi kit man – Mubiana who bore the brunt of a horrendous head injury that had rushed him to the hospital.

The match was put off for the second time and it remained unclear whether the rescheduled match will be scheduled again for another match or not.

The match between the Zambian teams, MUZA FC and Nkwazi surely created a scene which was very dramatic and questioned the etiquettes and morals of the soccer players.
