The UAP Old Mutual Uganda, An Insurance Company, in partnership with the Kenya High Commission, donated educational materials to the Special Children Special People Care Center in Kabalagala.

The donations were given Yesterday (Wednesday), December 5, 2023, including a water tank and food items, among other basic needs.

Reportedly, the Special Children Special People Care Center is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting children with special needs. The Organisation promotes special and disabled children through rehabilitation and education programs. Its ultimate goal is to preparing them for the future.

The Kenya High Commission official, George Owinow, addressed the donation event yesterday. He also appreciated the UAP Old Mutual Company for the work they have been doing for their Community.

“We thank UAP Old Mutual Uganda for joining hands with us in this fundamental step towards bettering the lives of our little sisters and brothers,” he added.

Further, Owinow also extended his hope that these initiatives would help the nation in achieving sustainable development goals. He shared that these initiatives will yield sustainable developments and provide a learning experience for the communities they serve and live in.

Reportedly, UAP Old Mutual Uganda is the leading insurance company in the West African region. It aims to cater to people at all life stages with the aim of fulfilling all their financial dreams.

ABOUT UAP PARTNERSHIP WITH KENYA HIGH COMMISSION:-

The Company has also launched the Jamhuri Golf Tournament in effective partnership with the Kenya High Commission. They are also looking forward to participating in the upcoming Tournament slated for December 9 as part of their Independence Day (Jamhuri) celebrations.

While highlighting the strategic partnership with the Kenya High Commission, the UAP marketing and communication specialist Caroline Owomuhangi extended her hope.

She added, “As partners, we hope to continue our commitment to having a growing and stronger East African community, and such social activities are a perfect fit for us (at UAP Old Mutual) to engage and create valuable linkages towards a people-centred integration, as well as showcasing our products and services to potential clients/customers.”
