Cape Town: Resident of Cape Town, Joseph Kaidoti, lost his life on Friday when he was hanging out with his friends.
Joseph is a resident of Cape Town, and he has been living there since his early age. He attended primary and high school there and lived with his family.
On Friday, Joseph was reported to have gone out with his friends for a night out. On their way back, the servers reported having met three girls who requested to be accompanied by them as walking was becoming dangerous.
Halfway through, it was reported that they met four more boys. One is reported to have gone to the same primary school as the deceased. The four boys searched the deceased and his friends, intending to rob them. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find anything as the deceased and the friend left all their personal belongings at home.
Later, an altercation took place between Joseph and the other thief where it is reported that he threatened Joseph that he was going to regret it and later on stabbed him in his chest.
Joseph died after a short struggle. He was then carried with his friends from the place of the incident. They were looking for help throughout.
The friends revealed that they first reached out to a firefighter company and asked for help, but they only said they could give them a bandage. Disappointed by the reaction, they had to continue with the search.
It had been reported that they met up with a police vehicle, which they saw in the distance. The police refused to put the victim in the car because they did not want to take responsibility if he died.
One of the friends ran to call the brother of the deceased. (The name has been kept private for safety reasons). The brother immediately went to the scene and saw his brother alive. The deceased fought for his life but couldn’t continue. All he did was extend the bracelet that he was wearing to his brother, and he passed away within a minute 9f meeting his brother.
Joseph was said to have been an ambitious child who had a future in culinary he wanted to pursue a career in hotel management, where he could be a chef one day, but he was robbed of his future.
The family was left devasted after the incident, and all they want is justice for their child.
