The Nigerian artist, Wizkid has recently declared that he and Justin Bieber have got more music to make together and they might be releasing it anytime soon.
The revelation was made by him after Wizkid made a guest appearance with Justin Bieber at Coachella stage performance by Tems.
Wizkid also said that he doesn’t stress to make any music and he did not expect much when he put out the music, in the industry.
“I just put it out and hope that people would love it and fortunately for him, they will love every song that have been put out on the albums,” said Wizkid.
Wizkid even said that he doesn’t really reach out to the artists for collaborations as they have usually gone ones to reach him.
Wizkid also shared an anecdote that, “When he featured Justin Bieber on ‘Essence’ remix, he was the one who reached out to me and said that he loved the record and begged to be on the remix.”
He said, “I accepted and he sent his verse and it was just fire. We’ve got some more music together too and we might be dropping it anytime soon.”
Moreover, Justin Bieber was really a privileged man. Geeting featured by Big Wiz is dream of every artist and it is not a chance that anyone gets randomly, every day.”
Reportedly, Tems and Wizkid needed no other body during the performance of their hit collaboration ‘Essence’ at the Coachella on Sunday evening, on April 14, 2024.
Tems then sweetened the deal for her audience at the Mojave tent with a special appearance from Justin Bieber, who appeared on a remix of the record, back in 2021.
At his Coachella performance, Tems has already started working her way through the opening verse of ‘Essence’ when Wizkid hit the stage which put the grin on the singer’s face.
The pair then traded the lyrics back and forth before Bieber emerged from the side stage shadows in accordance with the rumbling applause.
The delivered serenade style to Tems, who closed out the performance with a thank-you to her special guests and an in-the-moment reflection: “This is crazy.”
All in whole, Tems performed total nine songs during her set, of which she shared a teaser on social media ahead of her start time.
Tems wrote on her ‘X’ account (formerly known as twitter), “Coachella! I’m too excited. I have a surprise tonight.”
The musician sang her new track, “Love Me JeJe,” midway through her performance. The song was played just before ‘Essence’ in the show, that set up a double surprise for her Coachella debut.
