Be the guest and visit Home Exhibition of Let’s ACT from Monday to Friday between 09:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m. at Building Centre, 7 Platinum Drive, Northgate Estate.
About Let’s ACT Home Exhibitions
Let’s ACT Home Exhibitions are part of the Cape Town Future Energy Festival, which is a city-wide movement to empower residents in their energy choices, by bringing energy-smart solutions into their homes, schools and communities.
The Future Energy Festival is helping households to save energy and reduce costs by providing residents with knowledge, practical tools and inspiring experiences. While building resilience in the changing energy landscape and climate impacts.
They also ensured that everyone is part of the solution and contributes to the shared energy future by reaching diverse communities across Cape Town.

Let’s ACT: Live Smart Programme
The Let’s ACT: Live Smart Programme prepares Cape Town seniors to stay safe, healthy and energy-efficient during the summer heat. Through interactive workshops, participants learn practical tips to reduce electricity use, cook safely and keep food at the right temperature using smart cookers and cooler bags.
This programme is run through a partnership between the Sustainable Energy Markets, Environmental Management, Risk and Resilience and Library and Information Services departments.
Energy Efficiency Schools Programme
Schools and young people play an important role in shaping behaviour and learners can inspire real change in their homes and communities. An inspiring, engaging theatre production has been touring Cape Town schools, educating learners on how they can be the next generation of energy heroes.
