Zambia: The Holy Family Rehabilitation Center has announced that they want to launch a new facility to support the youngsters. The rehabilitation centre has been working with and providing therapy services for people struggling with alcohol and substance abuse.
The administration has highlighted that an increasing number of youngsters are are struggling with drug and substance abuse. Accordingly, they are urging the people to make efforts to support the youngsters struggling with this vice.
The Centre’s Director, Reverend Innocent Zhilole, revealed that the institution is ready to welcome patients facing severe addictions. The youngsters with a severe strain of the addictions need special care and more sensitive support from trained individuals.
Some of the times, the staff at the rehabilitation center has to give individual attention to the youngsters. Reverend Innocent Zhilole talked to the media regarding the opening of the rehabilitation center.
He highlighted the importance of the project and some crucial steps they have taken for the benefit of the youngsters. Zhilole highlighted the Centre has a comprehensive program to support the patients. The programme includes a training component that will give rehabilitants access to many valuable skills.
He said these skills aim to foster productivity and ease the transition back into their communities after their treatment and rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Zhilole emphasized the Centre’s commitment to serving clients from all over Zambia.
He highlighted that several important facilities have already become operational.
He encouraged people with addiction to take the help of the Centre and change their lives for the better. The youngsters can lead more productive and fulfilled lives after they have received the treatment.
The Director thanked the government for its support in giving qualified staff for the facility. The center has qualified physiotherapists which helps in increasing the capacity of the organization to provide top-notch care.
Meanwhile, Moonga Chizela, a resident of the Moomba area in Monze, has called upon traditional leaders to intensify awareness campaigns. The people of many communities have become severely ill and lost their lives due to consuming illicit alcohol.
The members of the community want the administration to educate people about the risk of consuming alcohol.
