St Kitts: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has come forward to honour and applaud the newest nonagenarian in the federation. The 44 year old took to his social media on Saturday to extend his best wishes on the 90th birth anniversary of Lady Hulda Lawrence.
The Prime Minister is proud to honour the elder who has inspired more than one generation of the federation. The Prime Minister acknowledged the elder for her several years of service, dedication and hard work.
The 90 years old has played a crucial role in developing the communities in the last few decades. She has served the federation with humility and honour, especially in the fields of music and education. The Prime Minister hoped that the elder can lead a happy, healthy and fulfilled life with her family and loved ones.
The Prime Minister shared his images of the lady of the hour and pledged to extend his support to her and her wellbeing. The wife of the former Governor has supported not only her late husband, but also the overall development of the federation.
Lady Hulda Lawrence, the wife of the former Governor-General Sir Edmund Lawrence and a former First Lady of St. Kitts and Nevis. Her contribution to the field of music and education is apparent in the school of music which she founded.
The Lawrence School of Music has been platform for the creatives of the nation to hone their talent and make their nation proud. The leaders have shared that the nonagenarian is a widely loved and respected figure in the community.
The newly turned nonagenarian is also the recipient of the Star of Merit for her contributions to the field of music. Dr Terrance Drew was also joined by his Deputy Prime Minister, Geoffrey Hanley in highlighting the contributions of the elder.
The people of St Kitts and Nevis also came forward to congratulate the former first lady of St Kitts and Nevis on reaching the 90 year milestone in terms of age.
