Botswana: Several tourism Stakeholders of Botswana participated in the press conference ahead of the Xere Cultural Festival. The festival is scheduled to be held for three days, starting on August 22 and concluding on Augsut 24.
The press conference was hosted at Cresta Lodge Gaborone with several other members of the tourism organization attending. The officials said, the Xere Cultural festival serves as a platform for preserving Botswana’s rich cultural heritage.
The festival is also a unique opportunity to celebrate and maintain the traditions that define the people of Botswana. The aim of the festivities is to make sure that the culture and traditions of the Xere Community are brought to focus.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO), Keitumetse Setlang, shared some details about the festival with the media. She said that this event is designed to help increase economic activity in the area.
During the three day festival, the attendants will have the opportunity to interact with the locals. The people can learn about their rich cultural heritage, and support the creatives by purchasing unique crafts.
