South Africa Men’s Cricket team is all set to take on the Australia Men’s Cricket team in the Australia Tour of South Africa 2026 ODI Series. The first match of the series is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium in Durban, South Africa.
The Series will serve as important preparation for both teams ahead of the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. Moreover, South Africa will host the World Cup in collaboration with Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The second match of the Australia Tour of South Africa 2026 ODI Series will take place on Sunday September 27, 2026 at the DP World Wanderers Stadium, in Johannesburg. The third match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at the NWC Oval, in Potchefstroom.
The South Africa team will be lead by the Captain Temba Bavuma, and accompanied by Ottenil Baartman, Corbin Bosch, Matthew Breetzke, Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Bjorn Fortuin, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Kwena Maphaka, David Miller, Nqobani Mokoena, Ryan Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs.
The Australian team will be led by the Mitchell Marsh and accompanied Pat Cummins, Xavier Bartlett, Alex Carey, Copper Connolly, Joel Davies, Jack Edwards, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Oliver Peake, Matthew Renshaw, Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa.
Additionally, after the Australia Tour of South Africa 2026 ODI Series both the teams South Africa and Australia men’s cricket will compete against each other within the format of test series “Australia Tour of South Africa 2026 Test Series”. The Test series matches are scheduled to take place in October, 2026.
The 1st Test Match will be played on October 9, 2026, Friday to Tuesday, October 13 at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, in Durban and the 2nd Test match is scheduled at the Dafabet St George’s Park, in Gqeberha from October Sunday 18 to Thursday 22. The third Test match is scheduled to be played at the World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground, in Cape Town from October Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31, 2026.
Notably, both the teams are yet to announce their teams for the Australia Tour of South Africa 2026 Test Series.
