Malawi: Maranatha Academy and Shadah University of India have announced a scholarship initiative. The officials have shared that offering a MK900 million to gifted students from all corners of Malawi.

The officials of the two organization have come together for a collaboration, which would help in providing quality education to students in Malawi. The Maranatha Academy has been helping several students from vulnerable communities get access to the students.

The organization has previously helped several gifted students achieve their desired stage in their student. Maranatha Academy Managing Director, Enerst Kaonga spoke of the significance of the pioneering scholarship initiative.

He stated that this visionary program is designed to empower the brightest minds of the country to pursue advanced education. The youngsters of Malawi will get the opportunity to get education in the capital city of India, Delhi.

While announcing the initiative, the officials claimed that the project will span across three years starting from 2024 until 2027.

Kaonga said the project will see one male and one female student from both public and private education institutions getting the scholarship. In addition to this, top-performing students from Maranatha Academy will be granted a K20 million scholarship to undertake their studies in Delhi.

Furthermore, Kaonga said the exceptional opportunity will grant Malawi’s most gifted students access to top-tier education, unlocking their full potential and paving the way for a promising future.

“Maranatha Academy and Shadah University have promised that they would evenly split the total scholarship fund, each of the organizations will be contributing MK450 million.

“This extraordinary collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to investing in the human capital of Malawi and nurturing a culture of excellence,” said Kaonga.

He believes that the scholarship program is a milestone in Malawi’s educational landscape. The project offers a ray of hope for students who may struggle to pursue their academic aspirations due to lack of funds.

As the future representatives of the nation, these scholarship beneficiaries will return home equipped with knowledge. They will have the skills and expertise to make positive transformations in the nation and help in the development of Malawi.
